01Who we are and what this covers
NearbyReview is operated by NearbyReview Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai ("NearbyReview", "we"). These terms govern nearbyreview.in, the owner console, the POS and quotation tools, and any business microsite we host on a custom domain.
By using the service you agree to these terms, the Privacy policy and the Content policy. If you use the service on behalf of a business you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
02Accounts
You need an account to write a review, ask a question or manage a listing. You must be 18 or older, give a working email, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, the Content policy, or the law. Where practical we tell you why and give you a way to respond.
03Listings and claims
Anyone may submit a business. Submissions are unverified until our team checks the phone number and address, and are published only after that check.
Claiming a listing requires proof you control the business. Claims are reviewed by a person and may be refused. Ownership disputes are decided on the documents provided; we are not an arbiter of who owns a business under law.
- Keep your name, address, timings and prices accurate.
- Do not list a business you do not operate.
- Do not create duplicate listings for the same premises.
04Free owner tools
The point of sale, inventory, quotation maker and lead inbox are provided free with a listing. They are business tools, not accounting records: you remain responsible for GST filings, invoice numbering rules and any statutory record-keeping.
Your sales, products and quotations belong to you. You may export them at any time, and we do not sell or share them.
05Paid plans and billing
Verified and Sponsored plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in Indian rupees and exclusive of GST. Prices shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase apply.
You can cancel from Settings at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are considered case by case for billing errors and for verification we are unable to complete.
06Acceptable use
Do not scrape the catalogue, probe the service for weaknesses, post content that breaks the Content policy, or use leads for anything other than replying to the person who sent them.
07Intellectual property
The NearbyReview name, marks and software are ours. Content you post stays yours; you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt it to run and promote the service, including in the microsite we generate for your listing.
08Disclaimers and liability
The directory is a listing of information provided by businesses and reviewers. We verify contact details, not the quality of a service. Reviews are opinions of their authors.
To the extent permitted by Indian law, NearbyReview is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
09Governing law and grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021 we designate a Grievance Officer reachable at legal@nearbyreview.in. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
10Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the owner console and by email to account holders at least 15 days before they take effect.
