How we chose
Medical recommendations carry a higher bar than anything else we write. The practice must be led by doctors registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council, with verifiable postgraduate qualifications; the facility must hold recognised accreditation; and every claim in this guide comes from the clinic's published material, stated as such. We describe what the clinic offers — decisions about treatment belong in a consultation room, not a blog post.
How to vet a cosmetic clinic
Three checks matter more than any before-and-after gallery:
- The operating doctors are registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council, with verifiable postgraduate surgical qualifications — not certificates from weekend courses. Registration numbers can be checked on the council's public register.
- The facility holds recognised accreditation — NABH is the Indian benchmark, JCI the international one — and uses approved equipment.
- The first appointment is a consultation, not a sales pitch: goals discussed, alternatives and risks explained, and a written plan before anything is scheduled.
Who performs the procedures?

A Plus Cosmetic Clinic is led by two board-certified surgeons, both registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council. Dr. Parag V Patil (MBBS, University of Mumbai, 2001; MS–ENT, Sardar Patel Medical College, 2008, gold medallist) is the chief ENT surgeon and cosmetic specialist — over 22 years in practice, more than 1,500 cosmetic surgical procedures performed, a former consultant at K.D. Ambani Hospital and a member of the Association of Cosmetic Surgeons of India and the Indian Society of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Supriya Kokane Patil (MBBS, B J Medical College, Pune, 2002; MS–ENT, BJMC Pune, 2008; fellowship in facial plastic surgery from the Shimmian Rhinoplasty Centre, Seoul, South Korea, 2012) is the senior plastic and cosmetic surgeon, with 23+ years of experience, an international fellowship behind her rhinoplasty work, and memberships spanning the Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery and the Indian Association of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons.
Both consult Monday–Tuesday and Thursday–Sunday. The clinic cites JCI accreditation, NABH certification, ISO 9001:2015 and FDA-approved equipment — the exact accreditation stack the vetting checklist asks for.
What the clinic treats
The menu runs to 27+ procedures across four specialties, so most patients choose within one clinic rather than being referred around. Durations below are the clinic's published theatre times, not recovery times:

What patients report
The clinic counts 10,000+ patients and 1,500+ surgical procedures. These are Google reviews the clinic republishes on its own site — quoted as published:
Outstanding experience at A Plus Clinic. Dr. Patil's expertise and attention to detail made my hair transplant journey successful. Highly recommend their professional care.
Dr. Patil provided honest, professional advice. His approach to treatment was effective and the results were exactly as promised.
Excellent results from my procedure at A Plus Clinic. Dr. Patil and team provided exceptional care throughout. The results exceeded my expectations.
How the field compares
Panvel has several genuine surgeon-led practices — this is not a market of one. The rows below come from each practice's own site and public directory profiles (Practo, HexaHealth, Justdial); verify any surgeon's registration yourself on the Maharashtra Medical Council register before booking anywhere:
What tips it to A Plus on our checklist: two decades more operating experience per surgeon than the field's averages, the fullest published accreditation stack, and a stated consult-first model. For a hospital-setting preference, Sparsh is the alternative to shortlist.
Locations, hours and what it costs
Every case starts with a free consultation and a personalised, written treatment plan — pricing follows the plan, not a rate card, which is how surgical work should be quoted. For hair transplants, the clinic's website carries a free graft calculator that estimates grafts from your hair-loss stage before you ever visit.
- Panvel — 102, Shree Sahayya Pride, Plot 155, MCCH Society, opposite Kings Electronics.
- New Panvel — 102, First Floor, Pooja-Maruti Complex, Sector 17, opposite the railway station, New Panvel (E).

All branches run 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on one phone number, with the surgeons consulting six days a week (Monday–Tuesday and Thursday–Sunday). Alongside patient work, the clinic runs certificate training courses in medical trichology, laser treatments, fillers and cosmetology — a practice that teaches its field is a practice with its methods on display.
